DZ Brief

To ensure that staff are available and that we can get you in the air as quickly as possible, our DZ briefs, gear checks and/or license conversions must be booked in advance.   

You must:

• Complete the Skydive Auckland Sport Registration Form (which you will receive in your confirmation email)
• Ensure you meet the NZPIA currency requirements (these can be found on our website) 
• Have your logbook with you

What you can expect on arrival:

You will be taken step by step through all of the SDA processes, rules and requirements; see the landing area and be familiarized with our aircraft.  If  you have your own equipment, this will be checked and tagged.  Reserves must have been packed in the previous 7 months and hook knives are mandatory.  If you are using our rental equipment, we will show you the equipment we have available and how to access it.  Please arrive on time, if you don't we will not be able to complete the DZ brief and you will have to re-book.

Your DZ brief maybe put on hold, if there are weather delays. Please check the SDA sport skydivers FB page or call us on 0800 921650 prior to coming out.  If we are not operating and unable to complete your DZ brief as arranged, we will reschedule you.

VISITING FROM OVERSEAS? NEED A NZ LICENCE?

Before you can jump with us, you will also need to apply for a NZ licence, this can be done at the DZ but requires a dedicated staff member.  You can purchase this as an extra when you book. Processing of NZ licences, takes up to 1 hour or longer.  We will aim to complete this following your DZ brief, but can't guarantee it.
