DZ Brief

To ensure that staff are available and that we can get you in the air as quickly as possible, our DZ briefs and gear checks must be booked in advance.   

Visiting Skydivers - If you hold a licence from another parachute organisation, you will need to transfer to a NZ licence.  This can be done by contacting NZ Skydiving.  Email: [email protected] and complete this process before booking your DZ brief.

Student Skydivers - If you aren't eligible for a NZ licence, you will jump as a student.  You are required to join NZ skydiving and pay an affiliation fee. Evidence of this must be submitted with your registration.

You must:

• Complete the Skydive Auckland Sport Registration Form (which you will receive in your confirmation email) and attach a copy of your NZ licence/NZ affiliation
• Ensure you meet the NZPIA currency requirements (these can be found on our website) 
• Have your logbook with you

What you can expect on arrival:

You will be taken step by step through all of the SDA processes, rules and requirements; see the landing area and be familiarized with our aircraft.  If  you have your own equipment, this will be checked and tagged.  Reserves must have been packed in the previous 7 months and hook knives are mandatory.  If you are using our rental equipment, we will show you the equipment we have available and how to access it. 

Please ensure you complete the licence/affiliation requirements & registration prior to arrival.  If not, we will not be able to proceed and you will not be refunded. 

Your DZ brief maybe put on hold, if there are weather delays. Please check the SDA sport skydivers FB page or call us on 0800 921650 prior to coming out.  If we are not operating and unable to complete your DZ brief as arranged, we will reschedule you.
