DZ Brief or License Conversion

To ensure that staff are available and that we can get you in the air as quickly as possible, our DZ briefs, gear checks and/or license conversions must be booked in advance.   You must have already completed the Skydive Auckland Sport Registration Form (which you will receive in your confirmation email), meet the NZPIA currency requirements (these can be found on our website) and bring your logbook with you.

What you can expect on arrival:

* DZ brief - you will be taken step by step through all of the SDA processes, rules and requirements; see the landing area and be familiarized with our aircraft.  If  you have your own equipment, this will be checked and tagged.  Reserves must have been packed in the previous 7 months.  If you are using our rental equipment, we will show you the equipment we have available and how to access it.

* License conversion - if you do not have an NZPIA Parachute Certificate and need a full or temporary license, that can be completed on-site with an 'NZPIA authorised person'.  You must have your logbook, photo ID and a credit card (to pay the NZPIA directly online).  You can find out about the NZPIA requirements here.  

To ensure that we can complete this process efficiently, you must ensure you:

* Complete the SDA sport registration form prior to your arrival (you will find the link in your confirmation email)

* Arrive on time

* Bring your logbook and gear (if applicable)

* Have a copy of photo ID, credit card (if applying for an NZPIA license conversion)

Your DZ brief maybe put on hold, if there are weather delays. Please check the SDA sport skydivers FB page or call us on 0800 921650 prior to coming out.  If we are not operating and unable to complete your DZ brief as arranged, we will reschedule you.
